The 14th Philadelphia International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival (PIGLFF)
is currently seeking volunteers to become a part of this year's exciting
celebration of film!

PIGLFF runs from Thursday, July 10th to Monday, July 21st, 2008.

The Philadelphia Film Society, which produces PIGLFF, is an established
non-profit organization that serves the LGBT community. Volunteers have the
opportunity to meet new people, earn free tickets to festival films, and
earn their way into exclusive festival parties and events!

Our volunteers will generally be working at our venues during the films -
ushering, managing the house, maintaining the box office, distributing
program guides, selling advanced tickets, etc.

We require all new volunteers, managers, ticket sales and box office
volunteers to attend one training session to become familiar with their
responsibilities, as well as, proper festival practices. Training sessions
will be held within June and July. Following the training, Volunteers will
receive an opportunity to sign-up for shifts during the festival. The first
training session will be held on Saturday, June 21st, 2008 from
10:30-11:30am at the William Way Community Center, 1315 Spruce Street,
Philadelphia. More training dates and information are available on our
website, www.phillyfests.com <http://www.phillyfests.com/>

Each shift worked will earn Volunteers a complimentary ticket to the film of
their choice. Volunteers also receive a festival t-shirt as uniform, when at
a venue.

Above all, we want our volunteers to have fun, enjoy the films and the
festival!

If you or anyone you know would be interested in this opportunity, please
pass on this email or directly contact the Volunteer Coordinators, Parinda
Patel at <mailto:volunteer at phillyfests.com> volunteer at phillyfests.com or
Ann Imperato at AImperato at phillyfests.com.

Thank you for your time. I hope to hear from you soon!
