9 Things You Need to Know About MCCLV's Tricky Tray Fundraiser

Please put the day on your calendar! Below are all the details
from Tricky Tray Coordinator Maureen Gillmeyer. If you have

1. The event is a fund raiser for MCCLV Ministries

2. The event is at the SeWyCo Fire Hall on Route 378;
approximately a half mile south of the Saucon Valley Theaters.

3. Event is on October 27, 2007 Doors open at 9 a.m. with brunch
starting at 10:30 a.m.

4. Brunch includes bacon, smoked ham, egg souffle, western
souffle, fresh fruit, baked ziti, green beans, roasted red
potatoes, rolls, lemonade, ice tea, coffee and tea.

5. Entrance tickets ARE ON SALE NOW at a cost of $20 per
person. Contact the church to purchase tickets.

6. Each ticket will come with a starter packet of 15 tickets for
baskets valued at $25 to $50 and includes the cost of brunch.
Tickets are reserved seating. There will be at least 100 baskets
ranging in value from $25 to over $400; with special items valued
at over $450 and a 50/50.

7. How it works is this: Your $20 gets you brunch, a reserved seat
and 15 starter tickets at items valued at $25 to $50. Once in the
door you then purchase additional tickets to put in bags located
in front of each item. You then put as many tickets in the bags
corresponding to whichever items you would like to try and win.
You will have approximately 90 minutes to do this and then we eat
at 10:30 a.m. While we are eating we start picking a ticket out of
each bag to determine the winner!

8. The cost of purchasing these tickets varies depending on the
value of the items; with items of higher value having higher
priced tickets:
- 30 Baskets with value of $25 - $50 (Tickets sold at $5 for 20
tickets)
- 60-70 Baskets with value of $50 - $150 (Tickets sold at $1 each,
3 for $2, or 15 for $10)
- 10 Grand Prizes with value of $150 - $300 (Tickets sold at $3
each or 2 for $5)
- Special Items with value of $300 - ? (Tickets sold at $7 each or
4 for $25)

9. We already have quite a variety of items either donated or
pledged in each category:
- $25 - $50 category: haircut, bowling tickets, DVDs, Pyrex
bakeware, Yocco's Doggie Pacs, Harry Potter collection, sewing
essentials, Baby Journal for GLBT families, etc.
- $50 - $150 category: Vivitar digital camera, Farberware
stainless steel cookware, twin and King bed comforters, Dorney
Park/Wildwater Kingdom Tickets, 60 minute massages, rounds of
golf, Digital Photo Frame, George Foreman grill, Home Depot Gift
Card, Bagless vacuum, power tools, Henkel Knife Set etc.
- $150 - $300 category: $250 gasoline card, $200 Giant food card,
$250 vacation package, VCR/DVD play/record/dub, outdoor gas grill
etc.
- $300 - ? category: Home theater System, $450 Estate planning
package, Wii Game System, Flat Screen T.V.
