[GLOSS News] Boys of Summer Swimsuit Party Fundraiser - Aug 10

Aug 2, 2007, PHILADELPHIA - PhillyGayCalendar.com is excited to release
additional details for this year's Boys of Summer Party, to be held on
Friday, August 10 at Pure Nightclub as a fundraiser for
PhillyGayCalendar.com. Boys of Summer, now in its fourth year, will be
the high point and culmination of a wild season for Philadelphia
nightlife.

New for this year, twenty-four "lifeguards" will be on hand to watch
over the crowd at the beach-themed party. The lifeguards, in sunglasses
and Aussie Bum speedos, will hand out prizes and flavored shots, dance
on stage, and whistle if partygoers get too raunchy.

It was previously announced the dance club star Quentin Elias will
headline Boys of Summer. The former Alliage singer will perform some of
his international hits to entertain the crowd. When Elias isn't on
stage, DJ Carl Michaels will be spinning the best house and dance music
to keep the crowd moving.  Brittany Lynn will kick off the event and
emcee the evening including a performance of her brand new song.

Boys of Summer also offers Pure Nightclub's $2 "pink drinks" until 11:00
p.m. and flavored shots throughout the night. Guys especially proud of
their summer bodies can enter the Hot Body Contest, with prizes to be
announced. Other performers and entertainment will be forthcoming as
well.

Pure Nightclub is located at 1221 St. James Street, slightly off of S.
13th Street, in Center City Philadelphia. Cover will be $15, though
guests who arrive in swimming gear will only pay $10. Doors open at 9:00
p.m. and the party continues until 3:30 a.m.
