Saturday, October 14 - 11:00 a.m.
Schuylkill River Park Hike, Fairmount Waterworks,
and One Hour Schuylkill River Cruise
Come see all the new things happening on the Schuylkill River.
Meet at 11:00 a.m. sharp at the north entrance of Schuylkill River  
Park at Locust and 25th Street.   Our activities are timed to meet up  
later with a 3 p.m. boat, so if you are coming along, you must be on  
time. Reservations are requested.


Sunday, October 15th - 9:00 a.m.
AIDS Walk Philly 2006
Join the PhilaVentures team for the 12 K (8.4 mile) walk on Sunday,  
October 15th. We will be walking as part of theWilliam Way Community  
Center (WWCC) TEAM. See this link if you cannot participate, but would  
like to donate.


Sunday, October 15th - 2:00 p.m.
Powelton Village Walk
A short walk in this early suburban West Philadelphia neighborhood  
with some homes built by barons of business. There are also buildings  
that are part of Drexel University and sites where very newsworthy  
events took place during the 1970s.


Sunday, October 15th - 2:00 p.m.
Weekly Wissahickon Valley Hike
Come out and join us on an adventurous hike along the Wissahickon  
Creek in Wissahickon Valley Park every Sunday at 2:00 in the  
afternoon. We meet at the Borders located at 8701 Germantown Avenue at  
the intersection of Germantown Avenue and Bethlehem Pike.


Saturday, October 21st - 8:00 a.m.
Pinnacle Hike
Back by popular demand, we will be carpooling from Philadelphia at 8  
a.m. heading up toward Hamburg, Pennsylvania to the Pinnacle which is  
the along the Lehigh Valley portion of the Appalachian Trail. The fall  
foliage should be at its peak!
