Pride GLV Future Uncertain - A Plea For Community Support

For the past 14 years, Pride of the Greater Lehigh Valley (Pride GLV)  
has been dedicated to building a safe and inclusive community in the  
Lehigh Valley. Many of you have enjoyed the annual Pride in the Park  
festival, casino night, film series events and annual pageants, all  
organized by PGLV. At the conclusion of this 2006 Pride season, with  
the delay in corporate sponsorship, low festival attendance, and the  
resignation of the president and vice president, the organization is  
in danger of dissolution

At the October board meeting, interim officers were appointed to  
assist the organization with moving forward. The new interim officers  
are: Shawn Bausher, President; Stephen Libby, Vice President; Carol  
Chadwick, Secretary. The new leaders invite you to help rebuild the  
organization. Without new members, volunteers and financial donations,  
the programs and activities that YOU have enjoyed will not take place  
in 2007. This is your opportunity to give your ideas and suggestions  
and to make Pride of the Greater Lehigh Valley your organization.  
Please attend our community forum on Tuesday, November 28th at 6:30pm  
held in the Hamilton Business Center, 1101 Hamilton Street, Allentown.
